If only there was some kind of magical website which let you type in things you were looking for on the internet and it told you where you might find those things... :)

Seriously, just google 'internet explorer spell checker' and you get half a million hits.

The great thing about Google (and the other search engines) is they give you lots of hits.

The bad thing about Google (and the other search engines) is they give you lots of hits.

I would really like a recomendation of an IE spellchecker that someone especially likes.

ieSpell was the first on the list when I googled what Blue Uriah said - and so far it seems pretty good. I have the icon on the toolbar - very useful - and I like the choice of language: English [US], English [UK], and English [Can] - sorry, Australia!

It did not know Dhondy or 3NT but it is learning!

I use the spellchecker that comes with the Google Toolbar. It works fine with IE.

I see from the EBU web site:

"Congratulations to the following TD’s who have been successfully promoted:

Gordon Rainsford to become a National Tournament Director.
David Stevenson to become a National Tournament Director."

Congratulations and positions deservedly earned.

Naturally I am pleased to see that the promotions were successful ... although I am a little unclear on what an unsuccessful promotion is :(

Sadly my wife who had applied for promotion did not get it.

I have found ieSpell pretty good, certainly much better than the spellchekka at our previous location.

Yes, congratulations to Gordon and David, and to Martin Lee and Neil Morley who have also been promoted.

A question arises: are we going to get another "Senior Consultant Tournament Director" or will this category disappear?
