For swindling investors by having them put money into a fake investment, he should get 150 years in a fake jail - just think how stupid he will feel in 149 years when he finds out the door was unlocked all that time.

Who will get the starring role in "The Bernie Madoff Story"?

On TCM tonight they are showing "I shot Jesse James" (1949). As a ten year old I could sing the entire Ballad of Jesse James, from the movie: Jesse had a wife, who mourned for his life, the children they were brave; that dirty little coward, he shot Mr. Howard, and laid poor Jesse in his grave. Etc.

For those abroad who are not familiar with Americana, Jesse James was an 19th century outlaw who robbed banks and stages, and killed people. He had a well-known alias of Mr. Howard.

Also I recall from around the same time there was a comic book presentation of the life of Billy the Kid. He was presented sympathetically.

Not to change a habit, I imagine I will see Public Enemy.

Perhaps I need to think about this. Or not.
