Red vs White, you pick up this beauty:

Txx
Jxx
Jxx
9xxx

It goes:

1 X 2 Pa
Pa X Pa ???

What do you bid?

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

2S

2NT would be scrambling, asking for his better minor.

I play Lehbensohl in this situation, so I bid 2NT.

Edit: 2 could easily be right, and on 2nd thought it's probably better, but I'd probably bid 2NT at the table.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

2S, with confidence. Then 2NT scrambling if 2S is doubled.

I think 3C is really bad, 2N scrambling is better. Even if you're not sure if you're playing scrambling or leb, 2N would be better. It is weird that people will always remember to bid 2N with 4-5 but not with 3-4.

Anyways 2S.

Let me see it again....

ok, I was exageranting :P. I still don't want partner to bid 3 over 3 or directly. and if he is just balanced 3-3 fit vulnerable might score a number even undoubled.
