I would advise all beginners to pass this one in 1st and 2nd and open it in 3rd and 4th at favourable vul or equal vul.

I opted not to bid the weak 2, but I thought it was close. When you first learn weak 2s, you seem to bid them on any holding. I feel like I'm starting to question certain holdings. I thought this one was close.

Certainly, if the spades had been J65432, I thought pass would be clear.
