Yes.
(Actually, 4 spades with West would not lead to defeat - since West can be thrown in with the 4th spade and endplayed - no dummy entry being needed.
But 4-1 spades with East and the Club King with West is the holding that ducking the first trick protects against.

Opps have 13 diamonds + a few other pics, plus one has a heart void and the other has a stiff - yet opps are silent throughout! Not if I'm holding their cards.

If you post a hand from a book then I think it is classy to mention the book at least. But really nothing wrong with posting a hand you saw and liked, other people might like it too.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.
