Ken's comments about 2♠ bids creating inconvience for the opps hits the nail on the head. I always strive to bid 2♠ when in doubt. That means weak 2's, PJS, or PJO or even a pushy raise of an opening 1♠. Let the opps come in at the 3 level if they dare and see if they can sort out where and how high.
