Here is a NY times article on "the first time Gates had ever played in a bridge club"
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/07/crosswor...dge/07card.html
If some of you overseas folks land up in London and have some spare time in the evenings, please do consider a nice session of bridge at this club. (http://www.ycbc.co.uk)

I agree that it is a very nice club to visit!
Mr. Gates must be enjoying his retirement, maybe he'll be back
See how Payn - Gates did here: http://www.ycbc.co.u...ts/20090424.htm

This was not the first time Gates played at a bridge club. He played at the Omaha Bridge Studio in a STAC game around 2001 or 2002. I know because I was there. Warren Buffett was also there as was Bob Hamman.

Maybe they meant the first time he wasn't playing with either world champs or billionaires?
