My monitor is 15.5" diagonal with a height of 8.25".

When I log in to BBOFlash, the BBO screen (box) is only 4 3/4 " high. When I click on the Forum, it is about 4" high. (sry I have to measure in inches) I have the blue MSN border around it with commercials at the bottom.

How can I enlarge the BBO screen? I can extend the playing area by reducing the space for chat but am still only getting a window of 4 3/4" in height.

Also, the flickering of the "free laptop" commercial makes looking at the screen really difficult.

Hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Thx for any help.

Someone told me that using their widescreen laptop in narrowscreen mode deletes the adverts
(But don't tell Fred)
Also, you can reduce the size of the right-hand column by dragging
I have not experimented with the Windows Magnifier (in accessories)

You will see fewer advertisements (and the part of your screen dedicated to BBO will be bigger as a result) if you log in through the yellow link on our home page (www.bridgebase.com).

If you do log in from our home page, you can get rid of the ads completely by spending an occasional $1 BB$ by playing on one of our pay tournaments or by renting robots.

With some browsers you can make everything bigger by hitting the F11 key on your keyboard after you get to the login screen (or after you log in).

If you play in a pay for tourney or rent GIBS you can banish the ads? What a great idea! I play in pay-for tourneys sometimes but hadn't made this connection. This is something worth knowing. Thanks!
