I am suggesting more than that.

Any action may lead to a bad score on any hand - well nearly any hand.

Its not hands where partner will take a bid that I am worried about missing out it is those hands where partner cannot muster up a bid.

I am not sure about this hand but i have done some work with similar hands at the three-level and i would be very surprised if pass is the winning action.

Pass may well not be the winning action when compared to the combination of all other reasonable calls, but still the most likely action to work when compared to any particular one of them.

Btw I didn't respond to "2♠ WTP? LOL" because I honestly couldn't tell if you were mocking people who say things like "WTP LOL" or people who bid 2♠. Both seemed about equally likely.

I told him I couldn't tell which, he replied, and I still can't tell which! He is either being extremely funny or he doesn't know what LOL means. Or maybe the point is he honestly can't tell what a giant LOL bidding 2♠ deserves.
