2NT = clubs/hearts?

Well, now 5♥. This looks like a double fit deal, so bid one more for the road.

About 3♦: it's ok; LHO was apparently in the swing for bidding spades anyway. You cannot be blamed for not guessing opps were going to bid 4 on the suit you have teh most hcp :lol:

I double and hope partner leads his singleton diamond. They'll probably make it, we might have 5♥. I don't know what's going on. How is partner's 2NT? If it can be very weak 5♥...

My partner bid a VULNERABLE 2NT and I am thinking about whether to bid 5♥?

I would think that the correct question would be either (a) whether to bid 6♥ now, or (b ) what am I going to do over 5♠?

I certainly bid 5♥ now. I suspect that I will take the "sure" plus over 5♠, but I am neither sure it is a plus nor am I happy about giving up on the possibility of a slam on these cards.

Someone is bidding on nothing, and I don't believe it is my partner.

4NT, I just want RHO to lead a spade, he cannot do so if I bid 5♥ (LHO leads) nor 5♦ (LHO doubles). If he bids 6 so be it.
