As with any president, on some level, there's a lot of rush to attack him from hardcore political opponents, and very often they reach to find any little thing to give the other guy crap over. Most of it has no bearing on the lives of any of us; it's just partisan b.s. But I'm now upset with our latest president, over something meaningful and signficant. He offered Kal "Kumar" Penn a job, and got him removed from the cast of House!!!! This is beyond problematic. Is there a statute of limitations on recalls?

Worst of all, we likely won't get another Harold and Kumar movie soon.

Criticism of Obama so far:

Geithner was a very poor choice.

Bringing up immigration now is a mistake. Health care should be the first, second and third priority or it won't get done.

Signing the earmark bill was a mistake.

The stimulus bill had too much out-year spending.

So far he gets a B-. He certainly hasn't been a transformational figure. He's charismatic. Jury's still out. Shrug.

Agree.

Not sure how they pressured him to put in Geithner what with all his pejorative baggage from the NY Federal Reserve (all the worst ***** went on during his watch).

In his favor, he can't go too far too fast so let's give him at least a year to show his mettle.

I agree with giving him a year. OTOH, I remember my father's reaction to Bill Clinton's election: I said "I don't think he'll be a good president"; Dad said "Give him a year". A year later Dad was saying "Get that SOB outtta there!". :)
