Your opps are one of the best pairs in the country.

The auction went:
1 - 3NT
4NT - 6
6NT - pass

Would you opt for an active lead, or a passive lead?

EDIT: the scoring is MATCHPOINTS
EDIT: opps play natural, 5 card Majors, longest minor, strong NT

Am I allowed to look at my hand? In particular, am I allowed to see my diamond holding?

A hint about the bidding system ( e.g. Strong Club or 5-card majors) of your opps would also be helpful.

am I playing poker or something? why can't I see my hand??

In abstract, active seems better, given there are long suits about.

I think both are pretty balance atleast no 6 card suits, so there is no need to be especially active In general I believe leads against slam should be active.
So its somewhere in the middle.

Hehe well, I led one way and it turned out bad. Partner had the argument that the auction calls for the other type of lead. He couldn't see my hand either ;)

I led active, a from Kxx-xxx-Jx-xxxxx. RHO made his Q and 6NT+1 was a zero.
