The auction went:
pass - 1
1 - 2!
2! - 3NT
pass
(Gazzilli: 2 shows 16+HCP any or <16HCP with ; 2 shows 8+HCP any)

LHO starts with a small , RHO plays the Ace and returns a small . 2 questions:
1. Which card should you play?
2. Does the scoring matter?

(At the table RHO continued so my opinion is biased)

I assume that West led 3, and that they were playing fourth-best leads? Otherwise I might have tried Q at trick one.

On the club switch, I play K. Why should I play for A offside and a misdefence?

This isn't much of an advertisement for Gazzilli. Can't I bid 3 over 2 and get to 4?
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

I wouldn't characterize a club shift away from QJxx as a misdefence (at IMPs anyway) and maybe not at MPs. Still, you will be owned for eternity if you duck the club.

Agree with the 3 rebid. Just because pard has an odd 8-9 points or more doesn't mean I should ram this into 3N.

Only time not play K is when I have bad opponents who don't know how to defend. (and are likely to cash the ace if holding it)
