Double. We have two tricks, partner made a vulnerable three-level overcall, we should be beating this.

While we might have a making five-level contract, many times we will not. Some of the times we do, partner will bid it (double is just cards, if partner has a 6-5 hand or something he can pull). And passing seems like bad tactics when we have this good of a hand.

This is a clear double IMO.

It's not a penalty double as such, it just show "cards". If partner passes, we're setting opps, most probably 2-3 down. If partner elects to take out our double, our values will be working, and I expect partner to make.

There's no 5-level safety at this point, thus bidding can't be the right move now. And we've got enough values to double, so passing isn't an option - to defend undoubled must be wrong.
Kind regards,
Harald

I thought X was pretty obvious just after I finished clicking on 5 and the button... Partner had KQJTxxxx xx Ax x... 5 couldn't be touched :). But of course partner would pull your X also.
