I quite often (say twice a month) find that the link is temporarily unavailable. Wait an hour or so and it pops back up. I wonder whether it has something to do with my ISP.

Denis, could you try to empty your Internet Explorer cache (Tools/settings/delete files/delete offline files) ?
Have a look too at what is in your
/Windows/Offline Web Pages/
directory
Reboot once at least, or twice.

Are you behind a firewall ?
When I first installed a firewall I couldn't access this page. Uday said to open port 81 and this worked for me.

Thanks Erkson/ Chris - all suggestions tried - still not working. strange because it always worked before - although I haven't accessed it for some time (months)
However - good news (sorta) - when I connect to the Internet via my 56K modem and a different ISP (instead of ADSL) I can access the tourney results - Very strange - as no other changes to settings . Maybe an ISP problem?

I had a similar problem with IE.
I tried first to repair IE with the repair tool of my Windows ME, then I updated my Windows (on Windows Update).
After many manoeuvers I resolved the problem emptying the directories I mentionned in my first reply.
Solution may be a combination of those manoeuvers.
Good luck.
