I'd play 2NT as a choice between the minors, which is fine on this hand, but I suppose you meant it as natural.

I'd lead a trump, to make sure that I get all of my diamond tricks.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

A (or K depending on your agreements) helps us take a look at dummy (hopefully) and try for a forcing defense which I think is called for here. The bidding was very...eventful.
