This ois the problem that arised at the other table.
At our table it was
(1♥)-X-(3♥)-pass
(4♥)-4♠-(pass)-pass
(5♥)-X-(pass)-???
It took me a while to pass this one, don't know wich of both is closer, if any.
partner had

Maybe the close decision was on partner's hands

spade contracts making 8 tricks on a good defence.

I think had doubled twice with partners hand and blamed partner for passing the second double. Didn't he hear the BID BID BID?
