Scoring: IMP

4H-----(P)------P--------(X)
P-------(4S)

Partner lead the ♦K (strong K ask for count) instead of overtaking you give count. Partner switch to the ♣J. Declarer win in hand with the Q play S ,Q,A,T he play J of S from dummy you discard an encouraging H partner win with the K and return a low H. You win with the K.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

I return a club.

From his play in the trump suit, declarer appears to have six spades. If so, our only chance of another trick is in diamonds, but there's no hurry to cash it.

If declarer is 5=3=1=4, he is insane and partner has misdefended by not returning a trump. The only way to beat it now is to return a club: a diamond return would let him ruff three diamonds in hand, and a heart return would let him ruff two hearts in dummy, but a club return, assuming partner has J108 or better, leaves him short of an entry.

If declarer is 5=4=1=3, he needs two heart ruffs and a squeeze. Either minor breaks that up, because he'll end up having to ruff one of his menaces.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn
