Depends somewhat on your partner's 3rd seat vulnerable style. I can live with 2♥ or 3♥ directly, but not with 2♥ then 3♥. Make your bed either way and then lie in it.

I'll bid 2♥ and let it die. I'm so chicken. Of course the other option was 3 right away, 2 then 3 is bad in general and particularly horrible on this hand.
BTW I'm kidding about being chicken, I'm perfectly happy just bidding 2.

I'd probably bid 2♥ at this vulnerability (3♥ favorable). Maybe 10% I'd get a wild hair and bid 3♥, or if I really knew my customers.

This seems like a wtp 2H then pass. Don't see how we can pass 1H X with this hand especially if you play 2H as 3 to 7. And competing over 2S is beyond terrible.

This was in large part a sanity check for me. I 2♥'d and passed 2♠. Of course pard has a lowish ODR Qx AKxxx Qxxx Ax so he wasn't competing to 3 either.
6 IMPs isn't usually a big deal, but this time it was one of three opportunities we had to pick up an 8 IMP differential to get out of our first match in a pretty easy Bracket I.
In the PM I got chirped at for not competing to 3♥ LOL.
