Upon fetching played hands from the www.bridgebase.com/myhands and then using movie option, I don't get the hands displayed or the bidding box displayed. Up until now this has functioned correctly. I have reinstalled bridgebase and the problem persists. There is another user of the PC who may have changed a control panel setting, but they are adamant that they have not. The movie function used elsewhere in bridgebase is displaying the cards and bidding box.

We have found that ( I assume you are using IE) clearing the browser cache helps. Suggests to me that this is an IE bug, but wont be easy confirming that.

Launch IE.
Menu item Tools/Internet Options
Tab "General"
Button "Delete Files"
Checkbox "Delete all offline content"
Click OK

Wait while it grinds.

Also, try to ensure that you're using the correct program to open your movies.

To select program to open your files with :

Right click on the file you wish to open.
Select "Open with"

And then maybe "choose program"

And then choose "NetBridgeVu"
