Scoring: IMP

I got to 7NT instead of 7♠ (my partner told me he had 5 spades, so I kinda counted 13 tricks). Both opponents guarded clubs, West had ♦JT9xx and East ♥JTxx, West had a singleton spade. Do you see a way? I didn't.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the ♥3.

If the same player has QJ of clubs, they can get squeezed. For example, if east has them, play off the top spades and top clubs, and upon cashing the diamonds ending in dummy east will get squeezed.

If west has QJ clubs, play top spades and top clubs, and upon cashing the hearts west gets squeezed.

However, if the honors are split and both guarded, there is no squeeze.

If the club honours were in diferent hands ( if you have Ax and Kxx menace) then this would be textbook double squeeze

So, as I imagined the reason why there's no squeeze is lack of E (from B.L.U.E), right?

non-simultaneous double squeeze in this case, unmakable with conditions given in the OP

If defensive club honors are in the same hand, then the squeeze will work if you guess which way to play the red suits.

If the club king was switched for the club T, then the hand makes easily no matter where the club queen and jack are.

There is no double squeeze in the given post because it would be flawed, the threat suit against both opponents require an entry to the threat in its own suit. There is a corrective measure for this on some hands, if one of the threat suits is possibly finessable ... that is the double quard squeeze. There is no possibly finessable suit here, so no chance for the double guard squeeze. Thus, the double squeeze is dead (100% because no entry in the double threat suit) and the double guard squeeze is not available. As noted above, if either opponent has both the QJ of clubs AND you guess which one it is before destroying the entries in the red suits, you can carry out a normal simple squeeze.

I always love the "If opponents have X then play Y" comments. Next time I'm in a tough bind I'm going to ask the defense to show me therir hands before I plan the play.

Not sure where you are going with this or if you are getting it

Ben was pointing what lie of the cards allows the contract to make, or at least to have a chance. In absense of other information, you should assume that cards are placed in a way that allows the contract to be made and play accordingly obtaining as much clues along the way as possible.

Dont worry, it gets easier after 20 years of practice or so.

My bad... There was a post above saying essentially "If X then play A, and if Y then play A"... and I misread the two A's as being different when they were the same.

I need some sleep.

2♣-2♦(GF)
2♥(Kokish)-2♠(not 4441)
2NT(BIG)-3♣(muppet)
3♦(one/both 4-card)-3♥(spades)
3♠(OK)-3NT(serious)
4♣(lots in clubs)-4♠(nothing to cue*)
4NT(RKCB)-5♥(two -- AK trumps)
5NT(Features?**)-6♦(no club King; diamond Queen)

*for "serious," must have great spades and/or club values
**because of prior denials, Responder can still show the club King, or red Queens

At this point, Opener can count a fairly reliable four spades, three hearts, three diamonds, and two clubs, for 12 tricks. If Responder has exact mirror pattern, hearts probably come in. If not, we probably can ruff something OR hearts OR something else OR a squeeze works. So, 7♠.

If matchpoints, where 7NT might make sense, one could in theory continue...

6♥(♥Q?)-6♠(no)
7♣(club Queen?)-7♠(no, and no diamond Jack, and no heart Jack)
