3. 3♣, vulnerable, but I feel the 5th club makes it reasonable.
4. Pass. Whenever I try to be really creative here (3♣?), it seems to come back and bite me in the arse.

3. 3♣ (afraid, like matt)
4. pass, opponents won't have a good reopening hand for strong clubs.

3. 2C, because of the vul and not entirely an unbalanced hand. If the hand was 3145 then I'd be more tempted.
4. 3S, At favourable I like to up the ante lol

3. 3♣. I've got a good suit to jack us up.
4. Pass. I could live with 3♠, but I think pass is better.

3. 2♣. Why do I want to preempt on these cards?
4. Pass. I see no reason to up the ante, and I don't particularly want a spade lead.

I'm with Andy.
(Edit: 3♠ is insane... But I do it anyway

2♣ and Pass.
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

3. 3♣, when we have expected 9 trumps we compete 3 over 2
4. Pass, we might even be getting doubled in 2s

3♣.
Pass and I think this is very easy. The damage has been done, and Noble is completely correct that we will get doubled in 2♠ some reasonable amount of the time.
