What do the 3D bidders do if partner rebids 3S?

3NT. Ugly, as it would be if we had rebid 2 also (maybe even uglier then as we will never figure out 3NT is bad if partner has a singleton heart for example.)
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

If partner can bid 2NT as a weak call after 2, such that 2 can be slightly weaker than otherwise, I kind of like 2.

Why can 2 be weaker if 2NT is a weak call over it? If 2NT isn't weak then something else is anyway.

If Responder can bid 2NT with a weak hand, then we can get out at 3 or 3 easily. If Responder cannot bid 2NT with a weak hand, then I think (maybe I'm wrong) that you cannot stop below 4. Unless I misunderstand, I think that this means that you need values to play at the four-level opposite a yarb to bid 2 without Leb/Ing but values to play at the three-level opposite a yarb if Leb/Ing is available.

I suppose that you could play that 1-P-1-P-2-P-3 and 1-P-1-P-2-P-3 are both passable, but it has been so long since I doid not play Leb/Ing that I cannot remember. LOL

And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

I prefer to bid hearts preempting the oppoennts from leading it than having a chance to find out we don't stop it.

I don't claim it being right nor better, but the reason I like it is that you often don't have alternative contract, and sometimes the hearts just split 4-3 or 3-3.
