Scoring: MP

Bidding goes:

3♣ Pass 3NT! All Pass

What's likely to be the result?

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the ♥3.

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

I don't even consider this a "psychic" in the true sense.

In Boston, I had a hand very similar to this and bid 3NT, which made 9 tricks. It should not have, but the opponents did not defend it properly.

I expect a fair chance that 3NT is down exactly the same number of tricks as 3♣, and I might even make this.

The fact that 3NT might inhibit some bidding by the opponents is a benefit that tilts the advantage to bidding 3NT.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Agree with Ken, this is more a tactical bid than a psychic.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Isn't this even agreed response to 3-preempt? 3NT if I suggest sacrifice over their Major/other major?
