Pass. My RHO opened my main suit.

There are certain hands where I would overcall on xxxxx, but this is not one of them.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I'd overcall. Lots of ways to gain, I am happy to compete to 3♥ if partner can raise. I am also thrilled if partner can bid game.

You could convince me to overcall on this if the suit were spades. Not with the heart suit though.

THanks for your input, sounds like the majority passes as I did. Partner was very angry that I didn't overcall, as he said 1H was "automatic." Opps at the other table overcalled and found cold 4H (partner happened to have AKQ hts)

Pass.
Wait and see.
As I did read the head line, my first reaction was
get in, but you have 6 cards in their suit, i.e. you
know, that you dont have a fit in diamonds.
With kind regards
Marlowe
