Scoring: MP

Bidding goes:

1♥ 1♠ 2♠ 3♠
4♣ 4♦ 4♥ 4♠
5♥ ???

You're East, of course.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the ♥3.

Pass, why did I bid 4♦? I don't have anything resembling a second suit in diamonds.

Would it have been different if partner had bid 4♠ and RHO had bid 5♣ or 5♥? Would that change your decision?

No difference.

My 1♠ overcall is fine. Nothing about the hand suggests bidding again - not even the 5-5 shape.

Partner's hand is undefined, except for spade support. For all that we know, we could be making anywhere between 8-12 tricks, and the opponents could be making anywhere between 8-12 tricks.

The 4♣ call from RHO is ominous. I would not get excited about holding 5-5 under these circumstances.

The one thing that I do know is that I have a 1♠ overcall and partner knows it. Let partner decide what to do.

Pass.

I did bid 4D to get partner involved in the decision process, now I pass,
to await his decision, he is the guy, who knows most about the combined
hands.

Would it make a difference?

Sure, because now partner knowes only, that
I have a 1S overcall.

Does it mean the decision will be different?

No. I have no clue, if partner did bid 4S with the intention to make,
I have no clue, if 5S is a big favorite to make, and I am certainly
not going to sacrifice red vs. green against a game which may or
may not fail.
If you additionally switch the vulnerability I will bid 5S.
