I do not think North knew South's shape well after :
1C>1S
2D>3C
3N

"No-one has suggested an auction with that start to it.
(Not surprisingly, as having decided to reverse into diamonds and received news of club support, 3NT is an insane call on the next round)"

But sorry then i misunderstood those past posts.

"Can live with 1♣ - 1♠ - 3N or 1♣ - 1♠ - 2♦; I think I prefer the latter because this is a great dummy for a 6-2 spade (even a 5-2) spade fit.

Not my style to open 2♣ on a hand like this. "

This might sound rude, but...

If you don't understand the difference between the auctions

1♣ - 1♠
3N

and

1♣ - 1♠
2♦ - 3♣
3N

then you really need to rethink your posting style.

There's nothing wrong with beginners and intermediates asking questions in the Advanced/Expert lounge.

However, your posts combine "Snarky" and "Stupid". This is just asking for trouble.
