Scoring: IMP

(3)-?

You have such a freak hand. How do you deal with this kind of hand?
Leaping michale applies only when we can jump bid over their preemptive, right?
Can Misho and Ben's meta overcall structure work here?

I wonder why so many players try to create conventions for hands that will never happen. It's a waste of bidding space, memory and resources.

5NT. Pick a slam, if pd bids 6c I correct to 6d showing diamonds and spades.

Good point, luis. That will be my choice too, but i didn't think about it at the table.

Two points:

1). "Leaping michale applies only when we can jump bid over their preemptive, right?"
Not necessarily, many play that 4C & 4D are LM here.

2). Luis is correct, why not just bid 4N and correct 5C to 6D showing the pointed suits?

Spoiler
Hi cnszsun!

Yes, meta overcalls can work here enough well, even when meaning of your bid is "pickup slam" and will work better because show directly to your partner both suits, while with 1 suiter he can use P/C bidding to show his opinion. I will give here an example of "pickup slam" bids.

(3) - ?

..........

5: 1 suited slam hand -> p continue cheapest suith without cover card in it.
5:
5NT: +
6: +
6: + (bid in posted example)

Why such way is better? Because in some cases p can bid grand, if he have 2 cover cards in our suits, in posted example with Q and K. Unlike if we also showed our suits, if to our 5NT p bid 6 as preference we will pass and miss grand, because p can't know that our second suit is , not ...

4 NT looks good, and after pd finds out about my 2 suits he will make a wise decision.
