I found this horribly interesting. It's about how people subconciously segregate to areas where others are like them, how they join clubs and communities that reflect themselves, where everyone has the same political view.
He then discusses very briefly why this is a bad thing.

if people are "segregating" of their own free will (iow not by necessity or thru force), why is that necessarily bad?

Hybrids become stronger and prosper.
Inbreds become sickly and die.
Not a bad idea, just inhumane.

We invented glasses so that the blind could see and contribute.
No matter their strange and wacky ways, every niche must be filled.
Humanity is all about diversity and exchange. Balance from the disparate poles of our experience. We abandon that and we divest ourselves of our humanity. Survival of the fittest is for our animal nature. It must be tamed. Otherwise we may well end up in some other specie's zoo
. The cosmic curiosity.....the creatures that refused their birthrite through lack of understanding.

"inhumane?
survival of the fittest "
It seemed that what he was saying, was clustering eventually leads to views of us vs them. To follow this further , then, that view potentially can lead to ideas of just what the "fittest" might be and how much value the "other" (or not fittest) has and that can lead to things such as the holocaust.
It was a fascinating video thanks for sharing
