XIMPS, unfavorable, 2-Pass-4-?

Is bidding here just sick?
If you act, what do you choose?
If you pass, how much better does your hand need to be to change your decision?

If I bid here what do I do with 2 added aces?

Overcalling an insufficient 4 makes some sense. When I correct it to 5, I'll bar pard.

:)

Bidding is crazy at these colors.

Bidding here is bad.

I think I would need the K to throw in a bid here, and it would be 5.

5

With a good six-card-suit and a bad 5-card-suit, I take preference myself.

With two addad aces more, I wouldn't have to pray so hard.

I pass at these colors. Give me the K of hearts and I'd bid (4NT, two places to play).
If non-vul I'd bid with the given hand.

I don't think bidding here is "crazy" or "bad". It is dangerous, yes and pass at this vul is prudent.
If nv I believe that 4NT is a standout.
