I expect someone out there less lazy than I am to reach a definitive answer on this. R/R imps, North deals.

King of hearts lead, low 3 low (udca). 4 of diamonds switch. RHO will cheaply cover whichever you play from dummy. How do you play?

After I win the evil trump switch in hand, I'm playing a to the Ace ans small to the J, followed by K of and a ruff; my hope is to get overruff by the hand longer in if they turn out 4-2.

If all goes according to plan, I'll take 8 tricks; I don't really see another way of making it.

I'm not sure what's right, but I would play A, K, and ruff a club. Then I would exit with a heart. My goal is to try to make my little diamonds by ruffing major suits.

I thought about this, but it feels like a zero line to me. Even when trumps are 3-3, you're going to get a promotion when you come off the board with a major.

Still club, club, ruff club looks like a good way to mitigate our downside.

Looks like a hand from the WSMG - Italy - Norway. I think declarer was off 1. I would play to ruff a club and exit in hearts - hoping not to get upcut if LHO has only 2 spades.

It was, and he did. I'm just curious which of the lines is actually better.
