Hi Fred and Uday

I am sitting here listening to youtube http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

and I keep getting the most irritating sounds, "bite me" and you make me blush"

I think the adverts are now getting depressingly irritating, please, the flashing ones, I can live with, but not when sounds are interfering with the music I listen to

please please please do something about them

I know I can control it with <Ctrl+W> but I prefer the wider screen

Yeah, gotta agree with this. I have seen dozens of people annoyed by this new ad today.

This is terrible! Yesterday we were terrorized by an ad of screen savers, which slows down the computers. Today these talking emoticons - I even stopped the sound of BBO and they continued talking. BBO is great project with wonderful features, but these two things meantioned above can make me stop playing BBO. This is terrorism.
BE COOL!

"Terrorism" is an overly strong word in this context.

We're tossing all the obnoxious ads we fine, apologies that these snuck thru.

Yeah, I agree, it is strong - sorry, I was very affected. I hope in a few days you will set everything.

We went thru the ads with an axe . We'll wait a little while and turn them on again, this time with everything that might have been annoying removed. Yell if you see things like that anyway and we'll fix it.

does the ad server (yahoo/doubleclick whatever) not offer an option to turn off audible/animated ads/whatever? If they do, maybe they give less money for them... hmm... bleah... seems that ad companies on all media have become excessively obnoxious these days.
