Win in dummy and finesse clubs. Say it loses and a heart comes back. I now take the double ruffing finesse in diamonds. If this loses to RHO they can't force me in hearts.

It seems to me that the key is to let LHO win their club trick before I let RHO win their diamond. And of course I will need the cards to behave. They might still beat me by returning a spade at trick 3 but most opponents will continue hearts.

As an aside, what do you rebid with the south hand after 1D - (1H) - 1S - (p)?
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.
