Scoring: IMP

1NT (12-14) on your left, 2H transfer on your right....are you getting involved at this stage or would you rather wait for 2S to come back around to you. Do you feel strongly either way I suppose is another thing I'd like to know.

I would bid 2NT now.

I feel reasonably strongly about bidding, not because our hand is so wonderful, but because of the possibility of the auction being at 4♥ at our next turn to bid. I would rather bid my hand early.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

That is true, although on the downside, game for your side looks quite a long way away, while bidding could help declarer in the play.

IMO An immediate 2N is safer as well as being more of a nuisance to opponents.

Agree with an immediate 2NT.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Ok. This was the call at my table in the match but unfortunately declarer now picked up the trumps (6-3 fit) which he might not have done normally. Just bad luck I suppose...

I'd probably wait. I don't know if I want pard diving over 4♠ holding 2 defensive tricks and I have an easy 2N bid later.

If bid 2N and partner bids on over 4♠, then I think it will be right. (I trusty my vulnerable opponents, this time.)
