Does 2D promises another bid?
If it does, bid 2S, awaiting further development.
If not, it is either 3S or 2NT, assuming 2NT showes
15-17, ... if not, than 3S it is, since that is, what is
left.

A natural 2♦ here should show a 6-bagger. If we play weak 2♦, partner normally will have 4-card hearts on the side. I'm shooting 3NT. Should have decent chances.

I agree with these comments.
IMO, the current trend in '2/1' methods is to treat a passed hand 2/1 response as promising a below-game rebid.
