Quite new to BBO but have played a couple of sessions and there is something abut the IMP scoring I don't understand. Let's say we're playing NS and have played five deals, all with positive IMP points. Shouldn't the cumulative IMP points shown in the lower left corner of the screen ( which gives the NS plus and the equal EW negative score) be equal to the sum of the IMP points shown on the MY Table table at the right side of the screen for the five games won by NS?

In the actual session I played last night, ar one point the score was reset and my pard and I then got small but positive IMP points for the next six deals, ranging from .5 to 2.9 IMP points...but the cumulative score showed us as only 2.98 plus and our opponents 2.98 negative. What's the story?

Thanks for your replies.

It could be that as additional scores have rolled in that your imp difference on previous deals has changed. The imp scores on BBO are dynamic - they change as more people play the boards.
