If doubled, I would venture 5♦, but I'm curious what others think of a redouble. Perhaps in these auctions where we would have bid 'under duress', redouble should not be to play, but rather suggest a second place to play. Thoughts?

Specifically the reds, because you could have doubled then pulled 4♦ to 4♥ with the majors? If that's the agreement, partner should be well-placed to decide whether to stick it out or try Door #2 at the 5-level; on the other hand, if it were "either other suit," you could bid 4♥ with the majors but longer hearts, or even the majors but a hand that doesn't want partner to convert.
