Scoring: IMP

Opponents silent.
2-2,
?

Playing 2/1, 2 diamonds is strictly waiting. Do you bid your systematic NT bid (whether upgrading this hand or not), or do you rebid 3 clubs?

If you rebid 3 clubs, partner bids 3N (basically denying a 5 card suit or a super-fit for clubs). Are you worth another go?

Tough one. Give partner Qx of clubs, and either A of spades or K of diamonds, you want to be in slam. However, 4NT may be too high if partner has nothing.

I take the low road and pass after bidding 3 and partner bids 3NT.

i guess if p has to have a 5 bagger to bid it, i call some # of NTs first.

i'd much rather have 4 card calls available, in which case this is an easy 3 bid.

If partner has Qx of clubs and an ace he should not bid 3N over 3C lol. If partner just has the DK and Qx of clubs slam is not a great proposition.

3C.

If partner bids 3NT I pass.

In view of the king of spades, 3NT may be
better.

I rebid 2NT and would not consider 3.

When partner bids 3NT over my (non-existing) 3 is pass.

3. I eagerly await any conceivable reason to bid notrump instead of my clubs when I can so easily bid notrump next round.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

3, planning to rebid 3NT if possible.
I'm passing 3NT from partner.
Kind regards,

If I rebid NT that will be 3NT as my hand should be worth about 25 pts.

3N for me... less likely to get to a club slam perhaps....more likely to survive a lead against 3NT.
