when playing with a partner against Gib and Gib
if you are playing 10-12NT or 13-15 NT ragnes and alert it, does GIB know that and use that information or is it just oblivious to it?

Say also if you were using roman jump overcalls, etc.?
I know in the commercial gib version you can pick a CC from their defaults and play that and GIB will load a different *.ini file but have wondered about what happens here in BBO when you alert vs. GIB bots

The commercial version of GIB "knows" (via the mechanism you describe).

The version we run on BBO does not know. It assumes that you play the same system that it does.

so there in no real advantaget to practicing a different system against GIB?
Will you ever make FD CC available to use when playing GIB?
I realize GIB has mostly been a dead end project since 2002.
