What was 1S? I would pass this, no reason to think our heart ace isn't cashing.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I would pass and let partner make the last call. On lead, I'll lead my heart A I guess.
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

Why must we double this? You don't think this is a FP do you?

I'll lead the A.

If RHO has a heart void and xx I will be forever pwned.

A zero is a zero (matchpoints) so I'm fine with doubling. Assuming I can find the right ace I'm beating the folks who didn't double or who doubled 6 Clubs (if it can be beat.)

At the table it's not much of a problem. Heart Ace looks right. Would you post this as a problem in forums if doubling and Heart Ace was right? Probably not. Shrug.

Didn't see it was MPs. I like double then - we might as well try to gain against the pairs that doubled 6.

I though that East would have a void for his 6 bid, and that West's pass over 6 would promise another, I was partially right, the problem being that they both had the same 'void'
