Matchpoints, partner bid only 2♠, gotta double to try to get better than 110 or 140. Bidding 4 never enters my mind.

Hmm I don't know that much about MP..but do we always have to X to 'protect' our 140 when this can easily be making rather than just taking our average of -420 or something? I know I'd want to protect it as well, but maybe partner's stuff are in the black suits or maybe all the diamond finesses are working or maybe the spades are split 3-1.
I guess I'm going to double too..lol but not liking it. Let's hope to get 1S, 2C and hopefully a heart.
