Why is it that whenever I take part in a tourney, and then go back and look at the tourney results, my net IMPs as published in the leader board never equal the net total of the IMPs that I manually compute when going back over /myhands/ on the web? I think the same applies to the average of MPs in a matchpointed tourney.
And I am not talking about survivor events, although analysing the results of those is another black art.

The tournment software shows the accurate number. My understanding is that if there are no "average pluses", or average minus, on a hand the results will be the same between the two sites. But if your really curious, uday has addressed this issue before. See the following thread....
