I bid 5C at the table, but this was not a success when it got doubled and partner drifted 3 off.

Partner had KQ94-A75-Q987-62. Result from the other room was 3S off 2.

I suspect both declarers could have been a trick better, but deep finesse made the limit of the hand 2C for NS, 2S for EW.

Even given all the comments I not sure my bid was correct. Looking at gnashers analysis, 5C only makes 3 out of 20 and you might be able to buy this contract in 4C. If you bid 4C you can always bid 5C later if LHO bids a confident 4S. That only loses if they weren't going to double a direct 5C, but would double a delayed 5C. 4C makes them guess on a lot of hands, with 5C they just double.
