Pretty straightforward question. What does 2♦ show in this auction?
1♦-P-1N-P; P-2♦
1♦-P-1N-P; P-2♦

Although as an exception I play
1C P 1NT P P 2C as a light hand with both majors, because responder (in England at least) has shown clubs with the 1NT bid.

Does 1♦-P-1NT-P; P-DBL also show diamonds?
It tends to, but the 2♦ call has more defense than offense.
2♦ is: xx KJx AQJxxx xx
Double is: Ax Kxx AQJxx xxx

You should also play this over 1D p 1N p p imo (2C=light majors, 2D=nat).
Anyways, agree with natural
