A,8,5
opps pass all the way, the bidding goes:

2 is an abomination

Clear 2 rebid. You'll be well positioned regardless what partner rebids.

I sometimes will rebid a three card side suit as opposed to rebid a six card major, so I am not totally surprised by the 2 bid. But to rebid 2 with a seven card major seems to be carrying this principle too far.

So, no I don't agree with the bidding so far. I would rebid 2 in deference to my poor fit for and my exceptional long and fairly good .

I have no idea how to continue safely on this auction, for I know no way now to show 7 and 3. Any rebid will mis-interpreted. But if you force me to bid 2, I guess I would bid 4 at this point.

Agree with the posters so far. Why bid 2H on this? Try 3D now.

2, no idea what good 2 can/ will do.
After 2 NT I will bid 4, bid what you think you can make.
