You hold ♠T763 ♥A93 ♦K632 ♣62

RHO deals and opens 1♣, and you pass. MPs, love all.

1♣ – P – P – dbl
2♣ – dbl – 2♠ – 3♥
P – ?

1) Do you agree with your double?
2) What do you do now?

1) I can live with it, but I would prefer it to be a little stronger.
2) 4♥

1) I prefer 2♠.
2) I am confused. If my dbl shows something in both majors and partner's dbl shows the same, how can LHO bid spades? Did he think that my dbl was penalty? Anyway, partner must have a very good hand with 5+ hearts. With a classical t/o dbl and extras he would have doubled 2♠. I think 3♥ is not quite forcing and with this minimum it may be right to pass. I bid 4♥ just in case p intended 3♥ as forcing :)

1) Prefer 2♠ than X
2) Given my X was responsive, 3♥ is just competitive. My original X already said my hand so I now pass with no extras to be found.

#1 I dont play responsive, so I would have bid 2S.
Depending on the meaning of the X, the 3H is not a
freebid, it just shows comp. values, as long as the x
promised some hearts.

#2 Pass, if we miss game, thats too bad, but on the plus
side we found a hand to fine tune our agreements.

1. Dbl is fine.
2. pass, I already showed my hand and partner didn't cuebid or bid game.

1. Personally i would prefer a 2♠ call the first time
2. Pass now, i haven't got a great hand for what i've shown and pard could have bid game or cue-bid couldn't he?

1) Disagree with double, I am too weak, and deficient in clubs by at least 2 cards. 2♠ for me.
2) Abstain, or 4♥. We don't have our previous call, so it is hard to say.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Agree with the telephone number, opposite a balancing double our rssponsive double should be stronger.

LOL B)

But I actually play a penalty double here, not a responsive double.

1. Your double is a penalty double, not responsive. What would I do with my 10 count and KQTx of clubs, you pass first, and dbl or you could have been sitting for partner's reopening double. So I could not double here responsive. I would choose to bid 2S. So what if I am in a 4-3 fit?

2. Now that I have buried myself with an auction that I don't have. I will bid 4♥ since I am wrong.
