Upgrade the ten of clubs to the jack, and I'd bid 2♣. It's that close.
EDIT: There's got to be a disclosure issue here, but I haven't figure out how to solve it. I frequently raise with an honor doubleton in competitive auctions with 7-9 hcp and some shape. My partners know that, my opponents don't. But I've asked around, and I've been told that this is not an alert. I'm sure this is a huge advantage to us, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. Or if it needs resolving.

I can live with 2c or 2s.

close, and we may miss a vulnerable game. But going down in a game or a too-high partial risks losing 6 imps, so it is not as if (over)bidding is safe.
I think most play that 2♣ is F1... so we are not going to be in 2♣ on a poor 5-2 fit, but so what?
Partner will be minimum far more often than he has the values for any game. Or he may be medium, and play you for a better hand.... an extra trump if we raise spades and a source of tricks plus more hcp if we bid a forcing 2♣. As for 1N.... please don't mention that in front of the children. This is NOT one of those modern sequences in which 1N doesn't show a stopper.... and even if it were, one would need to be hyper-modern to do it on xx.
BTW, if we pass, it has to be in tempo... both to maximize the odds of LHO reopening and to avoid ethical problems if partner wants to make a non-pass call over that reopening.

one of the hazards of posting while eating a sandwich, reading emails and checking voice mails is a very, very short attention span/memory.
However, playing 2♣ as NF makes it even worse as an option.... partner will now pass you with many hands with a stiff club and will certainly pass with all non-maximums with 2 clubs, and that will probably be a poor contract.
2♠ is the only palatable bid, but I still (even more so) pass

If you want to resolve it, alert anyway. No one will fault you even if they think it's technically not alertable.

Although, I admit, this one is not a WTP? hand.
Gun to my head? 2S. No bullets in gun? Pass.

We are all connected to each other biologically, to the Earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically.
We're in the universe, and the universe is in us.

Opponents in 3N drove out the spade 1st. So we won 6.
Personally I like 2C a little better although it could be a silly contract. 2S is ok but I hate ruffing hearts with my KQ.
I think you need to do something.
