partner opens 1NT, 13-15, possibly 5422, RHO bids 2 natural and you have

Scoring: IMP

What do you do? basic lebensohl and negative doubles are on.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Agree with Roger - bid 3 then 3 then 4.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Prefer 3 and, if pard doesn't raise that, follow-up with 5.

Yes, I was opener and just realized a sec too late that 3 followed by 4 shows this hand. My bad.

I think what I had in mind was that minor-major two-suiters show/ask for the major first (for example with 6-4 use stayman), but I suppose 5-6 is different. I was assuming that Whereagle's method would apply.

Btw, with 4-6 you wouldn't be able to show the minor if starting with a cuebid. Does that mean that we bid 4-cards up the line after a 3m advance?

I bet that a direct 6 bid had won the pot.

But I will have enough time to find the right spot, so 3 Club for now.
Kind Regards

From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Late to this, but prefer 3S.
