Playing Standard leads, standar signals.

You have to lead from J104

1. You didnt support partner in this suit he overcalled.
Lead the J? And what card to show next?
Would be the same if opponets are playing suit contract or no trump?

2. You did suport your p. Either opps can be playing suit or no trump contract
Lead the J? What next?

3. You lead a free suit.
Same or different? Same or different for suit contracts and NT?

Thank you

Always lead the jack.

I'll always play the ten next unless there's some reason not to, top of a remaining doubleton.

Usually you lead J-T-2, to tell JT2 from JT or J2. Not seeing the deuce after 2 rounds, pard will be able to infer that you started with 3 instead of JT or J2.

If you supported pard, same thing. He'll know you have JT2 instead of, say JT52. (lead the 2 second trick.)

This is textbook stuff.
