Sorry, forgot to reply to this. Here it goes.

1. It's more the methodology. The outcome in itself is perfectable. The point of SEF is, however, to keep gadgets to a minimum, so that every fan can easily follow the auctions. Most of the work was done by Roudinesco, Cronier, Bessis, Lebel and others.

2. The links you shown are mostly just basic stuff. The systematics lies on the advanced stuff, but that's kinda hard to find. There is some material in books by editors 'Le Bridgeur' and 'Grasset', but they're in french. I'll post if I find some good links myself.
